| | ✓ Geneva Transport Card
When you stay in an approved accommodation in Geneva, you will receive a free digital version of the Geneva Transport Card. This card enables you to use public transport free of charge in Geneva for the duration of your stay. The card is personal and non-transferable and grants you free access to Geneva’s public transport network UNIRESO: buses (TPG), trains (CFF), and boats (Mouettes genevoises). It is unlimited for the entire duration of your stay. Three days prior to your arrival, you will receive a link by email enabling you to get your Geneva Transport Card on your smartphone. You will then be able to use it to reach your accommodation from the airport. Please contact your hotel directly for any questions. ✓ From airport to downtownPublic transport with the local transit authority SBB is fast, frequent, and only CHF 3 (Zone 10 ticket) for up to 60 minutes of unlimited local travel. You can take the train (~6-7 min) directly from the airport to Geneva Gare Cornavin, and then continue by tram, bus, boat, or on foot to your hotel. Ticketing machines are available in the arrivals area.
Alternatively, bus lines 5 or 10 run every ~8-15 minutes from the airport and go directly to central stops, including Cornavin - still CHF 3 and around 15-30 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis cost approximately CHF 50-60.
