As September quickly approaches, some of you will do a training ride or two on LoToJa’s course. Wherever you choose to train, please think SAFETY FIRST and RESPECT the communities you ride through. Here are five key reminders to always follow:
• Stay to the right side of the road — and especially when sight lines are poor • Do not cross the center line • Ride single file as often as possible and never more than two abreast • Do not impede the normal and reasonable movement of vehicle traffic • Do not litter and please be discrete if bathrooms are not available (even in “remote" areas)

SATURDAY, JULY 13 — The Cache Gran Fondo has become a favorite training ride for LoToJa cyclists, especially since it starts and ends in beautiful Cache Valley. The 104-mile course is the perfect distance and elevation to get a century ride checked off the list in July. Racing the 75-mile race timed-course gives cyclists a chance to compete for a qualifying spot in the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships on September 15, one week after LoToJa.
