Get ready to experience LoToJa like never before! We are absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new, adrenaline-pumping category for the 2026 LoToJa Classic: The Team Time Trial (TTT) category!

This isn't just about riding together; it’s about a two-phase test of strength and strategy that will redefine the LoToJa experience for many cyclists.

Here is how the TTT will work:

Phase 1: The Collective Climb (Logan to Salt River Pass)

TTT Teams will start and race together as a unit through the first half of the course. They’ll use this time to find their rhythm, shelter each other from the wind, and tackle the legendary mountain passes as a unified front with other TTT category teams.

Phase 2: The True Time Trial (The Descent and north to Jackson)

Once cyclists crest Salt River Pass, the gloves come off. From this point forward, the race fully transitions into a traditional Team Time Trial format. Teams must work in perfect synchronization, managing high-speed rotations and tactical pulls all the way to the finish line in Teton Village.

Camaraderie with a Competitive Edge:  This category format demands trust and leaves no one behind. Participants get the best of both worlds—the shared suffer-fest of the big climbs followed by the pure, adrenaline-fueled teamwork of a TTT finish.

Strategic Depth:  TTT cyclists need to decide how much to "burn" on the climbs while ensuring the team has the legs left for the technical, high-speed pace-lining required in the final stretch.
