As a counterpoint, Scenes from Paris offers something entirely different—a love letter to the City of Light, shaped by affection and quiet visual pleasure. The photographs emphasize presence over spectacle, capturing small moments, fleeting gestures, and the atmosphere of a place that rewards slow looking. Alongside this new work, I’ve updated two existing series, Whispers and Short Series and Other Work, extending conversations that began earlier and continue to expand. | |

| | | | Winter encourages a quiet, inward focus—one that often sharpens through stillness. Even in difficult times, that stillness can bring clarity and understanding. While the current state of the world is unsettling, it feels essential to resist surrendering to despair. Periods of upheaval only endure if we allow them to define us. There remains far more generosity, curiosity, and decency in the world than the daily noise suggests, and holding onto that conviction continues to guide both my work and my path forward. | |
