Recently, travel has played an important role in my work, not as spectacle but as a way of seeing more clearly. Whether in familiar settings or far from home, I’m drawn to spaces where time slows, where details emerge gradually, and where the ordinary takes on quiet resonance. These are not grand statements but accumulations—small moments that, over time, begin to suggest something larger.

What ties all of this together is a commitment to looking closely and letting the work evolve without rushing it toward conclusion. The aim is not to arrive at answers but to remain attentive—to stay with uncertainty long enough for something genuine to emerge. In that sense, each series becomes an act of spring cleaning the mind: clearing away assumption and habit, and returning, as simply as possible, to what is there. In a time of so much distraction and discord, that act of returning feels more urgent than ever.
