Message from the Gallery Managers

David John was part of Mogo gallery for 20 years. We’re all going to miss him. David was always ready to assist with anything that was required. The memorial service was held at Cuppacumbalong in Canberra, a beautiful and tranquil setting for saying a final farewell… RIP David.

Special thank you Carleta for organising the second memorial here in Batemans Bay for those  unable to attend Cuppacumbalong.

Art sales for the December were 13 framed pieces and 10 unframed and for January were 19 framed pieces and 12 unframed. Congratulations to those artists.

An important reminder to all artisans and artists that our art deserves to be presented in the best possible environment. Please remember to dust and tidy regularly while on duty to help maintain a welcoming space.

Noelene and Camelle

Twilight Event

The Twilight Event for the new featured artist, Tessa Muskett, and featured craft artisan, Christina Allen, was held on Monday 2 February and was well attended. Christina revealed the processes she uses to bring her beautiful creations to life, and Tessa gave an engaging, animated talk about her artistic journey. Thank you Christina and Tessa. Come and see their wonderful work for yourself.
