Welcome to Our New MembersWe are delighted to welcome two new artists to the gallery, Charlie Lee and Taylah Watt. We look forward to seeing your work and being part of your artistic journey.
Gallery ImprovementsThe Gallery Managers and Committee are continually looking for ways to improve the gallery's image and visitor experience. At present, we are working on a display holder for members’ business cards. Watch this space for updates.
Gallery SalesDuring May, six framed paintings and two unframed works were sold. Congratulations to all the artists who made sales. Historically, winter can be a slower period for gallery and retail sales here on the coast. However, please remember to warmly engage with everyone who enters the gallery—they are all potential buyers and supporters of our artists.
Gallery HoursGallery Managers are available to discuss the possibility of closing the gallery earlier than 4:00 pm on days when severe weather is forecast or when visitor numbers in Mogo are particularly low.

The Gallery is calling for expressions of interest for Featured Artist and Artisan starting from August 2nd this year. If you would like to apply please email gallery@cabbi.com.au well in advance.
Expressions of Interest for Featured Craft Artisans are also requested for the changeovers on: 4th Oct.'26

What you need to know about Featured Artist/Artisan - You are allocated 2 square metres of space
- When you sell one item you are able to replace it, size permitting of course.
- The Gallery monthly fee for CABBI non-Gallery members is $30 payable by the 1st of the month.
- You will be emailed an Invoice which you just click on and pay, very secure and commission is 30%. Payments are made the following month of the sale.
- You are required to do 2 days roster each month,
- Delivery is best done the day before changeover (which is normally the 1st Sunday in the month every 2 months). For August it will be Saturday the 1st August.
- When you arrive you will need to fill out the Gallery agreement form and a Statement by a Supplier Tax form.
On the Monday (3rd August) we have a "Twilight Event" when the featured artists give a talk about their art journey: Arrival 4pm, for a 4.30pm start, close around 6pm. This is a good opportunity to meet other members over a drink and nibbles. Your family and friends are most welcome.
Please note that 3 weeks before the Changeover you will need to send us a nice photo of an exhibition piece for the advertising poster, and a photo of yourself as well as a short Bio for the Gallery wall.

| | Save the Dates: The next Changeover of art will be on Sunday 2nd August at the Gallery between 1 and 1.30pm. Please don’t be late. The Twilight Event will be Monday 3rd August at 4pm. The featured artist will be Pamela Green and the featured artisan will be Ben Housiaux.NB: Please ensure the presentation of your work is compliant (quality framing with glass or high grade perspex, not cheap plastic) and has been checked by a scrutineer before leaving. All works must be at least 75% handmade. (See sections 3.3 and 3.4 of the Policy and Procedure Manual for presentation requirements.)

| | | The raffle for the painting “Transition" generously donated by Carleta DeLac, was drawn on 8 June 2026 at the Gallery’s next Twilight Evening.
One of our gallery members, Leslie Dean Brown, received the raffle prize.
Currently on display is a stunning whale family sculpture generously donated by Anne Bruce for the next raffle draw. | |
