| | | A big thank you to Ben and Pamela for their very informative talks, sharing with us their creative journeys. Both artists have added some beautiful pieces to our gallery displays. A special thank you to Ben for completing and displaying a large bowl that was originally started by our sorely missed David John. Once again, it came as no surprise to see the incredible variety and quality of work presented at Sunday's changeover. Our gallery is looking fantastic. "Beautiful work" is a comment so often heard from our visitors, and it's wonderful to receive such positive feedback. Unfortunately, the gallery has also experienced some very quiet days with minimal sales. Winter on the coast certainly doesn't help—hurry up, spring! 💜 We are delighted to welcome Kenisha McAnally to the Gallery with her paintings and leather bags.
Sales for June and July include 19 framed paintings and 3 unframed paintings. Once again congratulations to those artists. We always welcome your suggestions and ideas. If you have any thoughts on how we can improve or enhance the operation of the gallery, we'd love to hear from you. We are constantly searching for new craft people to join the gallery so if you know any talented craftspeople please let us know.

| | Save the Dates: The next Changeover of art will be on Sunday 4th October at the Gallery between 1 and 1.30pm. Please don’t be late. The Twilight Event will be Monday 5th October at 4.30pm. The featured artist will be Leslie Dean Brown and the featured artisan will be Sharon Beder. NB: Please ensure the presentation of your work is compliant (quality framing with glass or high grade perspex, not cheap plastic) and has been checked by a scrutineer before leaving. All works must be at least 75% handmade. (See sections 3.3 and 3.4 of the Policy and Procedure Manual for presentation requirements.) | |

| | We would like to acknowledge and thank the committees who have come before us. Successfully running a major annual exhibition for 41 years is a remarkable achievement and a credit to everyone who has contributed over the years. This year's exhibition will also be a success if we all play a part. There are many ways to get involved, and we warmly welcome offers of assistance—please feel free to email either coordinator. By starting our planning earlier than usual, we hope to complete much of the preparation well in advance, avoiding a last-minute rush. As newcomers to this role, we are learning as we go and greatly appreciate the wisdom, experience, and guidance of those who have done it before us. Thank you in advance for supporting this event and for helping make it a truly collective effort.
