Christmas Newsletter 2025
The past year has been a truly wonderful year for our residence. Many of you found your way back to us and enjoyed a fantastic stay. The summer season in particular was very lively. This was due not only to the annual lavender festivals in our own village of Ferrassières and in nearby Sault, but also to the Tour de France passing close by and climbing the legendary Mont Ventoux.
In September, we once again welcomed participants and supporters of the inspiring event “Groot Verzet tegen Kanker”, as well as – for the very first time – the painting workshop hosted by Linda van de Meeren.
We expect 2026 to be another busy and exciting year. In addition to the lavender festivals, the Tour de France Femmes will climb Mont Ventoux on 7 August. The day before, the Étape du Tour de France Femmes will take place, an event open to everyone, starting in Vaison-la-Romaine. Furthermore, “Groot Verzet tegen Kanker” will once again tackle Mont Ventoux on 3 and 4 September.
Following the success of last September, Linda van de Meeren has decided to organise not one but two painting workshops at our residence this year: the first in early June and the second again at the end of September. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

| | As every year, our residence is beautifully decorated during the festive season to create a warm and cosy Christmas atmosphere. Our guests can enjoy the peace and quiet, the spacious surroundings, the stunning nature, our excellent facilities and the welcoming, homely ambiance.
On New Year’s Eve, we traditionally prepare Dutch oliebollen. In the late afternoon, we enjoy these together with our guests, along with other treats, accompanied by a glass of champagne, mulled wine or hot chocolate. A delightful way to end a beautiful year together.

For the past two years, we have had a stable and reliable high-speed internet connection, making our residence an ideal location for a workcation.
