Looking Back on a Wonderful Summer
What a delightful season we've had! After a relatively cool spring with sufficient rainfall, we enjoyed a wonderful summer – not too hot and without any wildfires in the surrounding area. Our guests could fully enjoy all our facilities, as the pleasant temperatures meant that not only the swimming pool and jacuzzi were popular, but also the tennis and pétanque courts. | |

Our renovated outdoor kitchen was a big hit this summer. Groups gathered there for barbecues, and individual guests also used it to enjoy a glass of wine in good company. According to our guests, this kitchen is a true asset to our residence.

Nature was stunning this summer, with the lavender fields in full bloom. The lavender farmers were pleased with this year's harvest, and we can look back on a quintessential Provençal summer, just like in the books.

Autumn – A Beautiful Season to Visit Résidence Château Ferrassières
Since mid-September, temperatures have dropped, rain has fallen, and instead of lavender, the air is now filled with earthy scents. Mushrooms are sprouting, berries are ripening on the bushes, nuts are falling, and deer are bellowing in the garden. The colors of autumn are here.

Autumn is also a wonderful time to visit Provence and our residence. The harvest is in, and it’s the season of the last festivals and harvest markets, featuring traditional crafts and local delicacies. Every weekend, there’s one happening in our area. Click here for more inspiration.

| | | | | We are currently renovating the château. The large terrace at the front has been completely renewed to improve water drainage, and it will soon give our residence an even more charming appearance. We’ll share photos of the results in our December newsletter.

| | | | | We've also worked on the pond. Over the past few years, the water level had significantly dropped, so we removed the liner around the edges and gave the pond a more natural look. Plants have been added, and over time, it will grow more vegetation.

| | | | The pond has now become more of a pool but remains very important for biodiversity. Deer, birds, and insects still come to drink, and dragonflies, frogs, and toads still find their breeding grounds there. We’re very pleased with the preliminary results.
