In just a few days, 2024 will come to an end, and we look forward with anticipation to everything the new year 2025 has in store for us. Globally, 2024 was a turbulent year, filled with uncertainty and conflict. Yet here, in the peaceful embrace of nature, that world seemed far away. Our guests were able to relax and enjoy everything our residence has to offer without a care in the world. We hope to continue welcoming many of you for a worry-free holiday in 2025. But first, we are preparing for the festive season!

Our estate remains a peaceful retreat where no fireworks are set off, allowing many guests to bring their loyal four-legged friends, even during this time of year.

On New Year’s Eve, we’ll prepare traditional Dutch doughnuts (oliebollen) for our guests and host a cozy gathering with drinks and snacks to bid farewell to 2024. | |

This year was much less hot and dry than the previous three years, allowing nature to fully recover. The result has been an even more stunning landscape that we’ve been able to enjoy throughout the year. We eagerly await spring when the effects of this recovery will become even more visible. However, winter is also a fantastic time to visit our residence, especially for those seeking peace and quiet or who love the beauty of nature. Winters in Ferrassières are characterized by plenty of sunshine, often clear blue skies, and complete tranquility. Our heated swimming pool and saunas offer a perfect way to unwind after a chilly walk because, yes, it can get very cold here. Every winter, we see snow, though it’s always uncertain when exactly and for how long it will stay. Our comfortable apartments are warm and cozy, equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, and televisions that offer not only French channels but also a selection of international ones. Books and board games are available in the central hall, ensuring everything you need for a delightful winter holiday is at your fingertips. | |

| | This past year was also a time for improvements at our beautiful Château. As mentioned in our previous newsletter, our summer kitchen underwent a full renovation in spring, we revitalized the pond, and we recently completed our large terrace project. The result is stunning, and in spring, new planters will be added to enhance the overall look even further. We’re already thrilled with the outcome!
